1 in Dubai

it's been a year now since i first set foot in this their so-called land of gold.


i'm still one here in dubai.

Almost 1 Year Now

wondered how i could have survived this place. don't really know how....

after almost a year, life here in dubai is starting to take shape.

And I Love You So

there's this Flilipino movie (starring bea alonzo and sam milby)that's being shown in al ghurair. flatmates pia, odess, chuchay and oliver were going and have invited me to watch with them. so off we went. and again, as expected my tears just went on a free fall. couldn't help it. i'm one sensitive gal. and it's a tear-jerker anyway. hehe..


oh well, gotta take time for things as this. ",)

July Update

it's been 4 months since i started work with ekfc.

so many things to discover, so many things to learn.

and most of all, i'm so glad to have wonderful people to work with. would have really wanted to post pics at work but some of them are rather shy about posting their faces to the worldwide web and have advised me not to include them. i've got loads of pics during picnics and games at the park pa naman. sayang. here's just a few..

Satwa Fun

my eyes have been drooping for hours before i was able to go home. thankfully, it was my shift change. took advantage of the break to go and have fun with family at my aunt's new place. she and cousin debbie have already moved to satwa where it's nearer work and they'd be having more peace when they get home.

roxanne went early to help cook the food and we came after lunch just enough for me to have a quick nap and there i was rejuvenated for another day of karaoke singing, eating and drinking the night away.

goodness, my brother got inebriated and so did cousin loveley, too. reneeirvon drank at his own pace so was able to remain sober until it was time to go home. all in all, we had big fun and aunty was quite happy to see us off.
